I've been spending loads of time in the garden this week as the weather has been beautiful. However, I'm quite a restless person and can never just 'sit there' so I've been looking for ways to occupy myself. The other day I work up feeling the urge to make something, so I hunted around my house for some bits I could use. And these are what I found:
Yup, buttons! I love buttons, I think they're so cute. What can one do with buttons however!? Well I added some of this into the mix:
Floristry wire (my mum has loads as she used to be a florist but it's really cheap to buy!) and just started threading away. Kind of like sewing, just with buttons and wire:
It actually took a really long time, especially when I realized I'd need another wire running through everything to keep any stability, but after a long time I got a long enough chain to make this:
Which I'm going to stick on a card for mine and my boyfriends one year anniversary. Cute, non?
